Agate Rubene is the artist and illustrator behind the brand Restless & Infectious.
Born in Latvia, Agate currently resides in Wānaka, New Zealand. Her artistic journey began with a foundation in fashion design at Riga Design and Art School, which took her on a global adventure, from Denmark to The Netherlands, where she earned degrees in Design & Business.
Agate's work is a vibrant celebration of life, capturing human emotions and actions through vivid lenses. She draws inspiration from daily experiences, moods, and pop culture. Agate incorporates vivid colour schemes, flowing forms, and lively characters to craft alternate worlds.

Fields Agate works in include illustration, branding and apparel design.
